Prof. dr. andreas meyer-falcke

Study of Medicine in Münster and Vienna from 1979 to 1985. Award of a license to practise medicine and his PhD in 1985, official recognition as specialist for occupational medicine in 1990, habilitation treatise in 1995, appointed adjunct assistant professor of Occupational Medicine in 2011. From 1986 to 1992 State work doctor / Institute for Occupational Medicine at the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. 1993 to 2012 positions in various ministries of the state of North-Rhine Westphalia, with the main focus on Work and Health, Human Resources, Organisation and IT. From 2009 to 2011 he was director of the Strategy Centre for Health/Health Campus NRW. Most recently he was the officer for implementing health management in the entire state administration. From 2000 to 2003 he was the recipient of the national e-Government Award and in 2002 the Speyer Quality Competition. In May 2012 he was elected commissioner in Düsseldorf with the assignment of Human Ressources Management, Health, IT and Citizens’ Service. In 2016 appointed Professor for occupational health at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. Since 22 October 2015 he has been federation chairman of the Inter-municipality administration unit for IT in the Rhineland (ITK-R).
