Iraqi-German Quality Conference
On November 3, 2022, Temos International and International Consultants Ltd. hosted the second International Conference on Quality, Patient Safety and Lessons learned from the Pandemic. The conference took place in Cologne and gathered professionals from public and private Iraqi hospitals, representatives of the Ministry of Health (Iraq), and public health and quality specialists.
Temos CEO Dr. Claudia Mika gave an opening speech and talked about Temos Quality in medical care and international patient safety goals. Ms. Angeliki Katsapi, Director of TEMOS HELLAS Ltd, delivered the presentation devoted to patient safety - clinical and care-related risks and introduced the WHO guidelines and international standards to the conference participants. Dr. Ali Anbori, CEO of International Consultants, moderated the workshop “Local experience on Patient Safety and Covid-19”.
During the conference, participants also discussed such topics as the international understanding of quality and quality management in healthcare, patient safety: hospital and patients’ perspective, risk management in medical organizations, infection control, hygiene and prevention, and quality improvement post-Covid-19.
