Eszter Jopp

Eszter Jopp is, for more than 20 years a continuous player on the international medical tourism market. Already 1993 she set up Medic Travel GmbH in Budapest which arranged aesthetic and laser eye surgery for German speaking patients in Hungary. In the following 8 years she built up different brands and internet platforms for health tourism and worked as the consultant for the health portal myBody. In 2006 she became Managing Director of First Med Services GmbH which she established with other experts from the healthcare and internet industry. By doing so, she could consolidate the brand BodyConture and Zahnklinik-Ungarn under one roof. The next big milestone in Eszter Jopp´s success story happened in 2009. It was the takeover of the Swiss competitor DentalTravel GmbH (established in 1997). With this she further expanded the role of the Firstmed Services GmbH as the leading provider of health travels to Hungary. Eszter Jopp became a Europe-wide medical tourism expert specialized in the German-speaking countries in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
After 20 years of experience in Europe, Eszter Jopp moved in summer 2016 to southeast Asia. She is currently living in Pune, India and apart from managing FirstMed Services she is exploring the medical tourism market in southeast Asia, especially India. She is taking all opportunities to visit Health facilities in India and have a conversation with doctors and diverse players in the medical tourism market. She regularly holds lectures on trends and developments in the health tourism sector as well as being contacted often by the press and media on this subject.
