Athens Medical Center accredited according to “Excellence in Medical Tourism”
Temos is pleased to announce that Athens Medical Center has been accredited in Greece, in accordance with the upgraded Accreditation standards of Temos International, “Excellence in Medical Tourism” & “Quality in International Patient Care”. The assessment took place in the midst of the SARS-cov2 virus pandemic crisis, in which the Athens Medical Center has been successfully implementing all necessary protocols for the screening, early diagnosis and prevention of the coronavirus transmission. Temos International accredited providers in the frame of this pandemic crisis have been proving their preparedness and effective adaptation to specific procedures and protocols for patient safety, as well as for the protection of the hospital and its staff from the coronavirus spread.
Three assessors from Germany and Greece had assessed for four consecutive days and evaluated the hospital, its diagnostic and invasive departments, fully renovated and equipped with advanced and innovative medical equipment, the experienced and well-trained medical, nursing and administration staff in a modern and patient-friendly environment where sustainability and environmental protection policies are implemented. The Department of International Patients offers support to international patients throughout the stages of the care cycle by the application of advanced protocols and processes in accordance with the high standard Temos International requirements.
