In the frame of the “Telemedicine in the global dialogue” program Temos has been offering and successfully established special teleteaching courses for medical students for more than 2 years.

With our new eCourses program which has been developed together with the German Aerospace Center DLR in Cologne, Germany, we aim to support the international exchange of knowledge and to offer scientifically and evidenced based CME in the field of (travel) medicine and health tourism. Like it is our philosophy for the certification program our eCourses do always focus on practical approaches, including practical examples given by our experts and direct exchange of the participants.

The eCourse starting in September 2009 deals with “Repatriation of patients by air” - please find the program here. This topic is getting more and more important for hospitals and medical facilities involved in international patient business. Questions like “Is a repatriation necessary or not?” or “How to prepare the patient for repatriation?” as well as the discussion about legal aspects of repatriations will be presented by experts from insurances, assistances and involved stakeholders.
