Economist, Director of gewi-Institute for Gesundheitswirtschaft e.V., Co-founder of the Fresenius University in Cologne, Expert in Health Care Business Management, Coordinator of the regional initiative “Health Cologne” and the “Health Region Cologne Bonn”.
Prof. Goetzke studied business economics at the universities of Hamburg and Cologne where he achieved the diploma and received a Dr. rer. pol. (PhD).
Coming back to the University after a period of 25 years as an entrepreneur he was at first appointed as a professor for business economics at the Rheinische Fachhochschule in Cologne.
Two years later as co-founder of the Fresenius Hochschule in Cologne, he there firstly started as dean of business economics and became afterwards dean of Health Care Business Management. Since 2008 he directs the new department of innovation transfer at the Fresenius Hochschule.
Additionally, Prof. Goetzke is advisory director and executive board of the gewi-Institut für Gesundheitswirtschaft e.V. at the Fresenius Hochschule. This non-proft research institute is the coordination office of the regional initiative “Health Cologne” and the “Health Region Cologne Bonn”.
Besides his academical functions at the Hochschule Fresenius Prof. Goetzke is still involved in several different companies in the area of Health Care Management and Media Management as well as in the entrepreneurial consultancy.
